Associate Judge Pat Garza, 386th District Court

Judge Pat Garza is the Associate Judge for the 386th District Court of Bexar County and has been presiding over juvenile law cases in San Antonio since 1989. He is a former Adjunct Professor of Law from St. Mary’s Law School and is a State Bar of Texas Juvenile Law Exam Commissioner. Judge Garza has been the Editor of the Juvenile Law Reporter for the State Bar of Texas since 2005 and in 2007 he received the distinguished Franklin Jones Best Continuing Legal Education Article Award by the State Bar College Board of Directors. He is a Life Fellow of the State Bar Foundation and has been Board Certified in the area of Juvenile Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2001.
